North Lincolnshire Unites for Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will commemorate the dedication and sacrifices of its armed forces with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 AM and start at 10:25 AM.
- Participants can join for tea and coffee inside the venue starting at 9:30 AM or assemble outside from 10:00 AM.
- The procession, including serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups, will march along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph near North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The remembrance service begins at 10:45 AM with the Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
- The parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens after the service.
- The Baths Hall will host refreshments for attendees to reflect and gather.
