Flinders Port Holdings (FPH) is entering a specially designed float in the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant in Adelaide, celebrating the importance of maritime trade. The pageant, a long-standing tradition since 1933, marks the beginning of the Christmas season in South Australia and attracts thousands of spectators of all ages.
FPH expressed excitement in a social media post, stating they were “thrilled to finally unveil our FPH float.” The float showcases the essential role maritime trade plays in delivering festive cheer and presents to South Australians annually.
“Our float is particularly special—it's the first custom-built float to join the pageant in five years, proudly featuring a replica of one of our Pilot boats, alongside a crew of straddle carriers, containers, and FPH elves ticking off Christmas gifts.” – Flinders Port Holdings
The design includes a blue fabric ruffle below the float to mimic water, creating the effect of the Pilot Boat gliding through the sea. Recently, FPH held the official launch of the float at Outer Harbor, where some of their FPH elves participated in the celebration.
