With less than three weeks before the premiere of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, Netflix celebrated Stranger Things Day by unveiling a new set of character posters. The images showcase beloved characters including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Erica (Priah Ferguson), Robin (Maya Hawke), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Murray (Brett Gelman), Karen (Cara Buono), and Holly (Nell Fisher).
Joining the cast are two new characters: Dr. Kay (Linda Hamilton) and Derek (Jake Connelly). Netflix encouraged fans to check out the full poster set released online.
The story of the final season takes place in the fall of 1987. Hawkins remains scarred by the catastrophic events caused by the Rifts, as the group unites for one final mission — to find and destroy Vecna.
