The highly anticipated fifth season will be released on Netflix in three parts:
- Volume 1: November 26 — four episodes
- Volume 2: Christmas — three episodes
- The Finale: New Year’s Eve — concluding episodes

Season 5 Storyline Overview
The story picks up in the fall of 1987. Hawkins remains scarred by the emergence of the Rifts, as the characters rally around a single mission: to find and kill Vecna, who has mysteriously disappeared.
Adding to the challenge, the government has imposed a military quarantine on the town and intensified its search for Eleven, forcing her into hiding once again.
The first five minutes of the final season take viewers back to Will Byers’ 1983 disappearance into the Upside Down.
