What Charlie Kirk's 3-Year-Old Daughter Said When Told 'Daddy Is In Heaven'

After Charlie Kirk's assassination nearly two months ago at a Utah University event, his widow Erika Kirk shared how their young children are coping without him. In an interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Erika revealed that her three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son often ask about their father.

Erika tearfully described the conversations with her daughter, who wonders how to talk to her dad now. She explained that she told her children their father has gone on a work trip with Jesus.

“Are they still asking, 'where is daddy?'?” asked host Watters.

“Yes, my daughter continues to ask,” Erika answered. “But it is really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.”

Struggling to hold back tears, Erika added that her daughter asked if she could go to heaven someday. Erika comforted her by saying, “Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.”

This intimate glimpse highlights the tender grief and hope a young family faces after loss.

Erika Kirk's words show the lasting bond between a father and his children, offering comfort in the midst of tragedy.
