The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest Men’s T20I rankings, confirming Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakaravarthy at the top of their respective categories.
Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma continues to dominate the list of T20I batters with an impressive 925 rating points. He is ahead of England’s Phil Salt and Tilak Verma.
Team India’s T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav, remains the only other Indian in the top ten, currently holding the eighth position.
India’s spinner Varun Chakaravarthy has maintained his lead among the bowlers. He is followed by West Indies’ Akeal Hosain and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.
Australian seamer Josh Hazlewood climbed two spots to reach tenth place, thanks to his strong performances in the home series against India. No other Indian bowlers appear in the top tier of the T20 list this week.
Among all-rounders, Hardik Pandya remains the only Indian representative in the top ten, holding the fourth spot.
