Fengate has started construction on a new seniors’ community located at 1105 McCraney in Oakville. This project is a collaboration between the LiUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada, Fengate, Seasons Retirement Communities, and The Hi-Rise Group.
The new six-storey residence will have 221 units, offering Independent Supportive Living (ISL) and Memory Care (MC) suites. This design supports a full continuum of care within one facility, following an aging-in-place concept.
The Oakville development marks the first project within the Greater Toronto Area for Seasons Retirement Communities, which already manages 15 retirement residences in Ontario, eight in Alberta, and two in British Columbia, with several more planned.
“This ‘aging-in-place’ model reflects Fengate’s ongoing commitment to investing in and developing a broad range of accessible and high-quality housing solutions for Canadians.”
The project is supported by representatives from all partners, including local officials and construction teams.
