The International Cricket Council has released the latest T20I rankings, confirming India’s dominance at the top of both batting and bowling charts.
Abhishek Sharma continues as the world’s number one T20I batter with 925 rating points. Recently hailed as India’s “most important batter”, he leads ahead of England’s Phil Salt in second place and India’s Tilak Varma in third.
Varun Chakaravarthy maintains his position as the leading T20I bowler with 799 rating points. His effective variations keep him ahead of West Indies’ Akeal Hosein, who holds 726 rating points, and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, ranked third.
Following a 2–1 home series victory against World Cup finalists South Africa, several Pakistani cricketers have climbed the rankings:
“Abhishek Sharma has maintained his hold over the top spot in ICC rankings for T20I batters, while Varun Chakaravarthy remains the world’s top-ranked T20I bowler.”
India’s Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakaravarthy stay atop world T20I rankings, while Pakistan’s emerging stars progress significantly after their latest series win.
