Korea, Indonesia Vow Deeper Cooperation
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto held their first summit, exchanging views on regional and global issues.
During the meeting, Prabowo congratulated Lee on hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, while Lee welcomed Prabowo on his first visit to Korea.
“The two countries have maintained close relations not only in the economic sectors such as trade and investment, but also in security and defense,"
Lee said, highlighting their cooperation in the joint development of fighter jets. The two countries agreed to expand bilateral economic and defense cooperation.
