Second Explosion Hits Barendrecht Home
A home on Ruiterwei in Barendrecht was struck by a second explosion in less than a week, according to police.
The blast occurred early Sunday morning, damaging the front of the house but causing no injuries. Authorities received the report shortly after 5:30 a.m.
Rijnmond reported that multiple people were inside the residence at the time, but fortunately, no one was hurt.
This incident follows an earlier explosion that shattered a window at the same house in the night from Monday to Tuesday. Police confirmed that both incidents are under investigation.
“We are looking into both explosions,”
a spokesperson said, urging anyone with information to come forward.
