Air Côte d’Ivoire Orders Four Embraer E175s to Boost Regional Connectivity

Air Côte d’Ivoire Expands Fleet with Embraer E175 Order

Dubai, UAE, November 17, 2025 — During the Dubai Airshow 2025, Air Côte d’Ivoire, the national airline of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, confirmed a firm purchase of four Embraer E175 aircraft, alongside eight additional purchase options. The acquisition supports the carrier’s ongoing modernization and regional network growth strategy.

Fleet Configuration and Delivery Schedule

The E175 jets will feature a two-class configuration with 76 seats: 12 in Business Class and 64 in Economy. The first delivery is expected in the first half of 2027, with the deal reflected in Embraer’s Q4 2025 backlog.

Operational Role and Strategic Importance

The new aircraft will primarily serve domestic and regional routes, reinforcing Air Côte d’Ivoire’s mission to expand its regional presence, enhance connectivity, and gradually replace its existing turboprop fleet. Chosen for its superior range, speed, comfort, and cargo performance, the E175 is positioned to boost both efficiency and passenger satisfaction.

Strengthening the Abidjan Hub

According to the airline, the E175s will play a strategic role in supporting operations through its hub in Abidjan by increasing flight frequencies and improving regional links. This initiative complements Air Côte d’Ivoire’s recent launch of long-haul flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle, enabling smoother connections to and from the hub.

“The E175 offers the ideal balance of performance and comfort to meet our evolving operational needs while advancing regional connectivity,” stated an Air Côte d’Ivoire representative.
