South Korean singer Hyuna, aged 33, fainted during her performance at the Waterbomb music festival in Macau on November 9, 2025, raising concerns about her health.
Videos on social media showed the K-pop star performing her hit song "Bubble Pop!" (2011) when she suddenly collapsed. Two backup dancers quickly assisted her before a security staff member helped carry her off the stage.
Later that day, Hyuna posted an apology on Instagram to her fans, reassuring them about her condition. In Korean, she wrote:
“I’m truly sorry. It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best side.”
She explained she did not remember fainting and expressed regret toward fans in Macau who had bought tickets to see her show. She added:
“I’ll try to build up my stamina and work hard consistently. It will be so great if everything goes my way, but I’ll try my best.”
