Toyota has unveiled the ninth-generation Hilux, now available for the first time with an all-electric powertrain. In addition to the electric version, the trusted 2.8-litre diesel engine combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system remains available.
The redesigned Hilux aligns its look with the latest Toyota Land Cruiser SUV. The front features sleek LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights and a bold, closed grille displaying the prominent TOYOTA lettering in the center.
Toyota also confirmed a hydrogen fuel-cell electric version of the Hilux, which is scheduled to arrive in 2028.
The interior has also been upgraded with enhanced technology and a fresher design to match its rugged exterior.
