On Tuesday, Olympic athletes took to the ice at the newly renovated Tahoe Blue Event Center to begin the round-robin phase of the tournament, which will qualify eight teams for the playoffs.

From November 4 to 9, 32 top teams from seven nations—including Olympic medalists, world champions, and national champions from the United States, Canada, Sweden, Scotland, Switzerland, Japan, and other leading curling nations—are vying for the title.
